Greetings from Galen

Hi! My name is Galen Dalrymple and I'm the pastor/teacher at Vineyard Hills Christian Church. My wife, Laurel, and I recently moved here from Maine to establish a non-denominational, independent Christian church in the city of Cloverdale, sharing God's love and compassion with this community.

In May of 2003, while we were living in the woodlands of Maine, we were invited to pastor a church plant in Cloverdale. I can't begin to tell you how excited we were (and are!) to have this great opportunity to be part of this community and to share the wonderful news of what Jesus means to our daily lives and to our eternal destiny. We have found the people of Cloverdale to be very friendly and kind. We look forward to giving back to this community some of the friendship we've already experienced.

I spent most of my adult life working in secular work in various capacities as a manager with a computer software/hardware/data/service firm in the Bay Area, so I understand the pressures and intensity of secular work and what it is like to have to commute. I served as associate pastor at Crossroads Christian Church in Tracy, CA for several years. I believe the combination of these experiences, along with education and God's calling, have prepared me in a unique way for ministering to the Cloverdale area.
